We are looking for a friendly, professional, caring, and vibrant Chiropractic Assistant/Technician to join us in our busy clinics and in our mission to elevate the health of our community.

A Chiropractic Assistant is so much more than receptionist. While the role entails taking phone calls, booking appointments and taking payments, you are also responsible for building a great relationship with each of our practice members and sharing information about Chiropractic.

While working as a Chiropractic Technician, you will run our state of the art spinal scanning equipment as well as performing posture analysis, checking vital signs and running discovery sessions. Full and extensive training is provided for this so no prior experience is necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and build a rapport with practice members
• Open up and close down the clinic
• Answer the phone
• Book appointments
• Assisting clinicians with time management of their diaries
• Filing of confidential paperwork
• Responding to e-mail queries
• Invoices for private health insurance claims
• Taking payments and cashing up
• Laundry for Massage Therapists and Chiropractic Technicians
• Send cards, vouchers and give gifts for special occasions
• Cover holidays
• Ensure assessment forms are completed
• Taking part in community outreach events both internal and external
• Basic sales
• Keep clinic tidy and be ready to welcome practice members
• Scan practice members using our protocol
• Run discovery sessions
• Input practice member notes
• Attend regular training and meetings

• A basic understanding of Chiropractic and anatomy
• Experience working in a customer facing role
• Sales experience

Location:

Goose Chiropractic & Wellbeing Centre, Campbell Way, Dinnington, Sheffield, S25 3QD

Hours of work:

Part time hours: 16.5 hours per week plus Saturdays on rota

Shifts 7:45 – 13:30 and 13:30 to 19:00. Days TBC

Must be available to work occasional Saturday mornings

Salary:

• £11 per hour
